The National Blood Services is the Philippine Red Cross’ arm that delivers adequate, safe and quality blood supply to the most vulnerable. To meet the increasing demand for blood and augment the national blood requirement, the PRC conducts education and recruitment sessions to encourage regular voluntary blood donations from communities, different companies, organizations, colleges and universities nationwide.
Global Medical Center of Laguna aimed mainly to assist indigent patients needing blood transfusion through its partnership with the Philippine Red Cross. Alongside with their mission, the Global Family annually conducts Blood Letting Program with the goal to at least collect minimum of forty bags of blood units that can be used by our fellow Filipino people who are in need of the different blood components because “At Global, We Care.”
