Global Medical Center of Laguna provides the critical care and life support for acutely ill and injured patients through the 24-hour service section called the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). ICU patients are regarded as the sickest patients. They are those with the most severe disease of one or more organ-systems. Patients who require any of the following are best cared for in an ICU setting: frequent monitoring, special monitoring devices, special medications and technology to support and sustain normal bodily functions.
The hospital ICU is primarily composed of the following:
- 6 Treatment beds
- Isolation Room
- Telemetry Unit with 2 beds capacity
- Conference Room
